Why do we have to wear our watch on the left wrist?

The explanation for this trend might seem complex, but it’s quite simple. Did you know that over 90% of the population is right-handed?  So, we have to wear our watch on the left side, simply because it’s less used in our daily lives. This way, it helps avoid damage and our dominant hand is not hampered by the watch during our daily activities.

In addition, it is important to consider that the majority of watches have their crown on the right side of the case. This is the reason why some left-handed people prefer to wear their watch on their left wrist. Obviously, it's easier and more accessible to make time changes and still be comfortable for the wrist.

What is recommended for bracelets?

Knowing that the majority of people wear their watch on the left side, it is preferable to wear your bracelets on the reverse wrist. They are less bulky and it will not damage your jewelry.
